Hey everyone I graduated last year in civil engineering but still struggling to find a job here. Obviously without any experience it become difficult to find a job. But anyone know if I can do any courses and certifications that might help me improve my CV and grab a recruiters attention? I am trying to find for work in construction industry. At first I wanted to find a job in water field but now anything goes. Infrastructure, structural, transportation, wastewater, etc.. If there is anything I can do to improve my CV to get a job in any of these fields.
Also honestly speaking it is difficult to find a job applying online. Since one of the questions they ask is how many years of experience one has, I can see how my CV gets filtered out by AI before it even reaches any human eyes. So do I want to know if anyone has experience of fidning a job here by linkedin networking or by going in person knocking door to door. I would appreciate any advice.
