I have read that there is an annual wealth tax in Argentina
If I were to retire in Argentina then I will be liable on a yearly basis as my total overseas
asset will be more than the threshold (Canadian dollars say $44,000)
I am currently residing in Canada and would love to retire in Argentina
Is there anyone who could enlighten me on this mandatory annual wealth tax?
I have read on the annual taxes on the internet but I am unsure if I have garnered the current
information I am a bit confused as Argentina had a one-off Covic wealth tax (which is now
history) But the annual wealth tax is a mandatory tax for all residents?
Please share your interpretation of the taxes with me
