Since February 11, Canadians or residents in Canada can file their income online. Certified software is listed in the CRA website. The CRA even sent letters to encourage the use of electronic method and emphasize the benefits: faster processing (in 2 weeks), a good news for the taxpayers, and saving hundreds of papers, a good news for the environment which will benefit us all.
My question is have you tried this method or are you contemplating of giving it a try?
I'm going to take a chance on it while I don't have yet a complicated financial status. This is a good time to learn the new method and learn tax software.
Tip:
For those who prefer the traditional method of mailing the forms and don't know how to go about the filing, you can look for tax clinics that can do your tax without any charge.
