Rental process in Qatar

Written byDragos Turcuon 10 October 2012

In order to find a good place to live and be content in Qatar you need to define your expectations first:

For luxury villas and flats go to the global real estate agencies and you will pay the high price but you can never be sure that what you get is what you want. (prices for flats - 11000 QAR/month up to 13000 QAR/month; villas 12500 QAR/month up to 18000 QAR/month)

For medium to high quality flats the best way is to aim for well known compounds (Ain-Khalid, Al-Azizia, Beverly Hills) - and go for the local agencies check Al-Asmakh Real Estate or Zukhrof Real Estate offers - they are really profi. (prices for flats - 9000 QAR/month up to 10500 QAR/month; villas 10500 QAR/month up to 14000 QAR/month)

For budget locations don't be shy and try Wakra - there are some quiet and cozy flats and villas in EZDAN Villages and Doha is not so far away; also you will save a lot of money because prices are almost half of what you can find in Doha. (prices for flats - 3200 QAR/month up to 6500 QAR/month; villas 7500 QAR/month up to 8500 QAR/month)

Good luck with your search!
