Safety Officer

Location: Riyadh, KSA

Qualifications:

• Degree or Certification in Occupational Health and Safety

• 5 to 7 years of experience in a safety officer role

• Expertise in safety practices and regulations for steel structure installation, particularly for screw conveyors

• In-depth knowledge of local and international safety standards, regulations, and best practices

• Strong ability to assess risks, perform safety audits, and implement safety procedures

• Experience with safety training and emergency response planning

• Ability to develop safety reports and provide recommendations for improvements

• Proven experience as a Safety Officer, preferably with expertise in steel structure installation and screw conveyors

• Strong understanding of safety regulations, hazard identification, and risk management

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and guide employees on safety practices

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to ensure workplace safety

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on-site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards

• Develop and implement safety protocols, policies, and procedures for steel structure installation projects, especially for screw conveyors

• Monitor and enforce safe work practices, ensuring that all employees adhere to safety guidelines

• Identify potential hazards and take proactive measures to mitigate risks

• Provide safety training to workers and management on safety practices, emergency response, and proper use of safety equipment

• Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions

• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address safety concerns and improve safety measures on-site

• Ensure proper use and maintenance of safety equipment, such as PPE, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits
