Civil Structure QA/QC Engineer

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or a relevant discipline.

Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.

Proven experience in QA/QC management in construction, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.

Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., ISO, ASTM, local codes).

Familiarity with quality management systems and tools.

Experience with conducting audits, inspections, and preparing detailed reports.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage QA/QC procedures and processes to ensure the highest quality standards across all projects.

Lead and oversee the QA/QC team, providing direction, support, and guidance to ensure tasks are completed effectively.

Monitor and enforce quality control procedures for the inspection of materials, equipment, and construction work.

Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular audits, inspections, and reviews to verify the quality of work and adherence to specifications.

Identify and address any quality issues or non-conformities, developing corrective actions when necessary.

Prepare detailed reports on quality control activities, including inspection reports, audits, and non-conformance reports.

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations and standards.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure that quality standards are being met throughout the project lifecycle.

Provide training and mentorship to staff on quality control procedures and best practices.

Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality-related matters.

Requirement:

Candidate should have valid Iqama ID.
