Recently widowed. Late wife was Thai whose family was from Chiang Mai. We were going to visit there first when I retired, now I think I want to make it my home when I retire. Some limited vacation experience with my wife visiting Bangkok which I enjoyed (except the heat, which I hear is way better in Chiang Mai.) Looking for a simple lifestyle there. Meet up with new friends and hang out bullshitting like we do here in Canada when we go to a bar for end of week drinks with our friends .. only more so when I retire lol)
