Family Reunion Visa VITEM XI

john8670

Hey everyone I recently got the first step in the process done by registering my marriage with the NYC Brazil consulate. It looks like the website has a generic "visa application" that has a drop down menu where you can select what the Visa is for. ( There is a family choice ). I'm guessing I have to fill out this generic form first and once its complete I will be given another form for VITEM XI?

This is the page I'm on

09/14/22 Hi, John, I'm not sure, but I think that the generic form turns into the right form for you as you fill it out, based on your dropdown menu selections.

Congratulations on getting through the registration step. 👍🏻

I did this recently on the e-consular website. There should be an option to select the visa you want as you go through it. Then you end up at a page to upload your documents. They'll leave responses on this page on any changes you need to make or to upload some document. Once everything is fine then they'll tell you to mail in the documents, fee, and passport. Btw when you get to the mail in instructions click on the mail button and it'll give you an Application receipt with a QR code that you are suppose to include with your documents. I saw the instructions to mail it in but didn't click on the button. After I mailed it and clicked on it, it gave me the QR code page and instructions to include it with the documents. I didn't have any issues but just a FYI.
