Rent a flat or a house in Lagos

Is it hard to find a flat or a house for rent in Lagos? Yes

How to find a home in Lagos: classifieds, real estate portals, real estate agencies? Pot Luck, some agencies are okay but the business is flipped upside down in favour of the landlord

How much is the rental for a house, an apartment? Variable and unpredictable - between USD20K and USD85K for a 2 to 3 bed apt

What are the formalities or the required documents for renting an accommodation? Legals and Agent ask for 20% on top which is  wrong/ rent is payable 12 months in advance, no maintenance follows

Which advice would you give? Look at 30 to 40 properties, spend 3 months looking, stay in a hotel until you find something, check all the fine print, have the money ready when you find a good one as it will not last long

I met someone who worked in US the same idea you have. My question to him was where will you get water, irrigation, vaccines and enough grass to feed large livestock? He was talking about buffalo or bison on the basis they are tough animals. And how would you do it with through international government?

If you introduce a new species the implications are greater than than feeding a nation. Cattle and beef contribute greatly to air pollution. Would chickens be better? Look at Australis with cats, rabbits and cane toads.
