Bahraini Passport application for my child,

Post new topic

Aleatara

Hi.

I have a baby who turned 2 years old and 3 months this November. I'm a filipina and I'm married to a bahraini. Unfortunately we struggle acquiring my babies documents from birth certificate to her passport due to our late marriage. Since in Muslim country you have to be at least 6 months and above married to get all your babies documents without a hassle but since I got pregnant during covid and Philippines embassy has a lot of requirements required before our marriage we got married 4 months before my labor and my baby came out 1 month earlier as expected.

So unfortunately the hospital didn't give us the birth certificate. We had to file a lot of lawsuit and alhamdulillah last March 2022 we got her birth certificate, we thought it's done we can get her passport and cpr as well but again we have to file another lawsuit to National and Passport and Residence Affairs to give my daughters passport and Alhamdulillah again last June we won the case. And again we thought this is it. But since we submitted our application in immigration since September 22, 2022 we haven't heard anything from them they didn't ask us to pay for the passports fee as well they said that our application is for verification and we are stuck here.

Does anyone here experience same situation and already got their babies passport?

Please let me know i just want to know how much long it will take before they will validate the documents and give us the passport.

Thank you!

I would suggest that you raise a complaint on the Tawasul portal, giving all of your details and marking it to NPRA.  Usually they are pretty responsive on that.
