Dears,

In order to get birth certificate for new born baby in Bahrain, We have to get the marriage certificate from Bahrain government. For this, I have received affidavit from indian embassy. Now, I want to know where can i register my marriage ? In Ministry of Foreign Affairs which is located near zamil tower, manama. Is there any online portal to apply ? or we need to visit there ?

You can just visit MOFA in LMRA Sanabis Branch or MOFA Manama Main Branch. No Online process go with the original document and get it attested.

@topinsight01 will they put attestation on the same document (Indian embassy affidavit) or different document ?

They will paste the attestation stamp on the same document.

Finally, I got the attestation on the same document. Thanks for your clarification. Here is my experience,

Indian Embassy:- Take one set of photo copy of all documents [Husband & wife passports, CPR, Marriage certificate] .Try to go before 11:30AM.If the no of visitors more, There is a chance they may close issuing token early. First get token and then, start filling the document. Else, Download the form from the Indian embassy website and fill it. It may take hours if many people are there. MY token number was 75 and token 55 was in counter. It took 2 hours for me to complete the process and get the document. Keep 5BD as cash to pay.It is very easy to reach by public bus. [Bus no 41]

Ministry of Foreign Affairs:- We should go to "Legalization Office - Consular Affairs" for attestation on the same document provided by Indian embassy [which we filled and submitted to embassy]. The office opens at 08:00AM only. We should not go to "Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government Ave, Manama" .

Better go there with phone can able to do QR code reader. You have scan one QR code and it redirects to one google document. We have fill the information in google document. But, NO NEED TO take printout. Get the token/token number first and mention in the google document. They did not ask any question. They charged 10BD and put one Stricker and signature in the embassy affidavit document. Only CARD. No Cash. It is very easy to reach by public bus. [Many buses towards MANAMA]

Now, I have to get appointment in LMRA office , ISHA TOWN to update my marriage information in the CPR system.

Now, Finally, I went to LMRA isa town office and did marriage status update. I took token from the machine [no pre-appointment] and went to counter. i gave my attested document [attested by MOA]. they scan the document and update the status.

Now, I want to know how to check my marriage status ? Our employer can see the status ?
