Hello Everyone,

Just joined I have been getting loads of different answers to a question so I am hoping someone in the forum will be able to help.

So there is land which has one title deed (being my Gran dad) but was legally sub-divided and approved by the municipality.

There is a lot which is for my father and his brother both sadly passed away in the UK.

I want to build a small house only using our 1/2, the municipality is asking for affidavits of both and consents from their wife and children.

Now on my father side it's not a problem, the issue am having is that I don't have contact with my uncle family and impossible to get this.

Has anyone come across this and can give me some advice how I can resolve this, I don't want to build without a permit but several people have said as long as no one complaints you will probably just get a fine.

In terms of the building I will comply with all regulations. Thanks Lolo

Hello Lolo190563,

Welcome on board !

You need to contact a notary (notaire), he will find the family members and any other heirs of that plot of land and propose some solutions.

All the best,

Bhavna

Hello Lolo

Have done many drawings for my client, i use to deal with these issues.

At Planning level if all paper are not in order the municipality will not approve the drawing for your Construction permit.

unless you get a letter from the heirs sign with all heirs + Copy of ID including Affidavid of your uncle, then it will be ok

kind regards

Thank you both,

Bhavna do yo have any notary contacts please, uncle family is in the UK.

Worse case scenario if I can't get my uncle family to do this is anything else that can be done.

More input from the forum would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Lolo
