How can I get Anerkennung for Schulabschluss when I'm not in Germany?

Hello everyone. I recently passed my B2 Goethe exam and I'm interested in doing an Ausbildung zur Pflegefachkraft so I've begun to apply to different hospitals and clinics in the Frankfurt region. Some request that I get an Anerkennung for my Schulabschluss and without it my application cannot be considered. The issue is I'm still in my home country Nigeria and after looking at the body responsible for Anerkennung in Hessen they require proof that I ALREADY stay in Hessen, Germany. How would it be possible to get an Anerkennung without first receiving a contract and migrating to Frankfurt? And do I actually require it now or does it just depend on the company?

As far as I know, ANABIN is the German organisation for recognition of foreign certificates. Contact them and ask! (Alternatively, or in addition, you can also contact the Hessen authority you mentioned.)

You should first look up your foreign secondary school diploma in the anabin databank to determine whether it meets the minimum requirements for the Ausbildung (you usually need the equivalentof an MSA).

Since you require the evaluation for admission to an Ausbildung, you need to contact the Schulamt: https://schulaemter.hessen.de/anerkennu … bschluesse

You need to make it clear that you intend to settle in Hessen, which makes them responsible for your application. Regardless of the (incorrect) information on their website, it is not a requirement that you are already living in Hessen (§2 HBQFG).
