Hi all. Sorry a random question and not sure anyone may have an answer or

I am moving to KSA after accepting a position.

My current employers suggest taking a break / secondment instead of handing in my notice.

This would mean I would have a comfort blanket, but i am worried that every though not in the U.K. or receiving a salary this may effect my expat status for tax.

not sure anyone is able to help and advice.

This would be a 2 year break and an option to come back.

Also would anyone recommends a a tax advisor at a good rate.
