Hello everyone,

Every year, our lives are punctuated by events, twists and turns and all sorts of unexpected things. Local and international news has inevitably had an impact on your life and your projects in Indonesia in one way or another.

As the year draws to a close, let's share the highlights of 2022.

Tell us, what do you remember about your year?
What was the highlight of your life in Indonesia?
On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your year?

Thank you for your future contribution!

Fred
Tell us, what do you remember about your year?

Got a job, found a load of excellent coffee shops, moved back to jakarta, oh, and got married again.

My latest wife is nice. Also, I found a really good pizza place and got my level 7 Google guides badge..

What was the highlight of your life in Indonesia?

Seeing the lousy weather, massive drug/drug fuelled crime problem, idiocy of woke crap, and cost of living crisis.

Then being happy all that is in the UK and we see hardly any of that rubbish out here.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your year?

About 20 because Indonesia is wonderful

About 20 because Indonesia is wonderful

Apparently Indonesia has the lowest emigration rate as a % of the population than any other A.S.E.A.N country. So I guess many locals agree with you Fred wink.png

2022 was a great year. I love my island of Belitung: snorkeling, hiking, people, sunsets, hard to choose a highlight. Perhaps it was spending a number of hours with local.tour guides helping them to practice their English for the G20 contingent that came.
