Hello bhupendra bista,
Welcome to Expat.com
You should check the following articles > Visas for the Netherlands and Work in the Netherlands.
Also, is there a Netherlands embassy/consulate in Nepal? If yes, I advise you to check with them as well.
All the best,

Hello pakumarapk,
Since there is a dedicated section for employment, job seekers should post their CVs in the Jobs in the Netherlands.
And should also read the Living in the Netherlands guide for expats > Work in the Netherlands.
Best of luck,

Hi, I cannot create new post. Is there a limitation on new members?
edit: Nevermind it worked
Well, I won't exactly say I am a new member because I joined late last year. But I am yet to introduce myself. My name is Titi. I am married to a Dutch...and have applied for the MVV to go live with my husband soon.
While there, I hope I can find a job. I am a media practitioner with over 18yrs experience on the field. I have been a reporter, a producer, media consultant and digital media content creator . Would be nice to get a job as soon as possible. I am a good communicator in English. .I understand I have to take my Dutch to an appreciable level. I can with more study...I studied for my A1 and got perfect scores...when I set my heart to a thing..I achieve it!
Ok! This introduction is getting too long 😆 but u see, I am excited and hopeful about this new life and adventure.....I have been exposed to many cultures...so it is easy for me to adapt. I love traveling....I also fancy a career in diplomacy and anything that has to do with communication and me showing love to children, women and people in distress!
Ok. I said I was going to stop...sorry. I love writing!
So much for an introduction . I am bored waiting for IND 😆
Nice to be here
Hello fellow expats, I am so excited to see this platform that helps expats understand all the aspects of moving to the Netherlands.
My name is Teri, I am from South Africa and currently living in Abu Dhabi. I've recently signed an offer to start working in Rotterdam in April (SO EXCITED). Luckily my new company is assisting me with relocation and they have been very supportive in terms of putting me in touch with agents to help me with my long term rental.
I love being in an environment that fosters growth and creativity. I have always been the type of person that enjoys being exposed to different cultures, I would rather go to the local restaurants or markets than to the touristy ones because I find that you get to understand the country more. My family is very important to me and although I live far away from them, we always make time to connect. I am an introvert, but I become an extrovert around people I am comfortable with.
As you can imagine, the reality of moving to the Netherlands is quite daunting and confusing, I guess I am just interested to know how all the other expats transitions have been and if there are any tips, that would be appreciated. My biggest confusion is around finding a place where I can register for my BSN, because I am arriving in Rotterdam 10 days before my start date with my company, I need to find a short stay that would allow me to use their address to register. Any Advice?
As I transition into living the the Netherlands, I hope to be a beacon of advice for any newbie also planning to move.
Thank you for giving me an opportunity to introduce myself, I hope you all have an amazing day

Hi and welcome to the Forum.
You can register from any address where the landlord permits registration. Most do, but there are some who don't like their name known by the taxman, so it's best to ask. My daughter registered from an AirBnB address when she first returned to live in the Netherlands, others on here have told us that they registered using the hotel address where they stayed.
I hope this helps.

@Cynic Hello Cynic, I am Jade, I have read almost your comments here related to Netherlands topics, I have to log in today to say thank you 😊 Because Im going to move to Netherlands this year, a bit confused to choose which cities with international companies, could you recommend me? Amsterdam/Rotterdam/Den Haag/Utrecht??? Im non EU but my husband is EU citizen, we would move together…could you recommend me a keyword? 😬 Thank you indeed.
Dear everyone,
I am newbie here and would be new expat in Netherlands too 😬 I and husband are planning to move to Netherlands as soon as possible.
Im non EU and he is EU citizen, I would like to ask whether we move there, he must get a job and work contract immediately??? or he can find/get a job after registration a BSN for both of us and apply "Verification againts EU law” for me ? I have read topics here and IDN site, I actually think that he might get a job at first right?
I have read almost information but in every single case like me I still got a bit confused the steps what to do firstly and secondly….
Thank you for reading my post😊 please tell me something whether you know better than...
Good night😉
@Julien

Hi all! I'm from Brazil and a German national, me and my wife (non EU) are looking into moving to the Netherlands soon as I go to work, and she studies for her master's degree.
Just joined after seeing many helpful posts here, such a great community.
Hello,
I'm Allyson and I have been living in the Netherlands for 5 years. I attended the University of Amsterdam to get a BA and MA, but even after my zoekjaar, I could never find a job. They all would tell me they are only looking for Dutch speakers!
I really want to continue living in such a great country, especially after I have built a life here. I am American by the way!
Hi Allyson,
Welcome on board !
I would suggest that you drop an advert in the Jobs in the Netherlands section of the website along with your CV.
You can also open a new thread on the Netherlands forum to interact with members, should they know a potential employer...
All the very best

Hi and welcome to the Forum.
Your forum info suggests you want to work in Media and you do speak Dutch to the B1 level, which probably means it's your accent that's letting you down; as a Dutch speaker with a London cockney accent, I can sympathise. We moved back to the UK and my kids now speak Dutch with a Yorkshire accent. Hilarious to me, and horrendous to my Dutch wife who spent all her life teaching them to speak Dutch properly; they still speak it fluently, they just sound funny, which leads me to my point. They almost certainly have a lot of native Dutch speakers applying for work who can speak "proper Dutch" that's not what I speak (I have a Twents accent), you probably picked up the Dutch from where you lived, and your speech would be a distraction to the message.
In general, job seeking is not easy in the EU where the law requires each member country to consider all EU citizens before Third Country nationals (that's what they call us). The Netherlands in particular is not a large country and its marketplace is just 23 million dutch speakers worldwide (more people live in California), so they employ the best and they are very good, Dutch language is very important in many work areas, not just the media, so you really need to focus on your Dutch.
Not sure if I've helped much, but I wish you the best in your search.

Hallo en goedendag,
My name is Ashley and I am currently trying to emigrate to the Netherlands! I currently live in the United States, so emigrating to the Netherlands is quite difficult. I have tried doing my own research on how to arrive (finding a job while living outside of the EU is so difficult), so I am stumped on how to proceed!
Coming from the USA, I do not need to apply for an MVV to enter the country; I am allowed to stay for up to 90 days without a visa. Am I able to find temporary housing (ex. AirBnB) and look for work to help sponsor a work visa/residence permit during this time? I have tried sending out my CV to companies that offer sponsorship, but have not had success. Any suggestions is appreciated!
Dankuwel, Ashley

Hello everyone,
I'm Sergio and I'm from Greece.
I always had a soft spot for The Netherlands and it started with the cool orange colours of its national football team.
I am planning to move to Rotterdam next month, my girlfriend is already living there with our mutual girl friend for the past two years for studies. Sadly I couldn't move in with her because I had to fullfil my country's military obligations and then work to make some money in order to move. As an EU citizen I didn't expect it to be so complicated to move in another EU country, my plan is to get a temporary BSN(RNI) until I find an apartment and be able to get a proper BSN. I want to work in Rotterdam, give a shot to a bike courier job for full time.
I hope I'm lucky enough to find a place or a small room to rent as it is almost impossible for the 3 of us to rent together in Rotterdam.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.
My advice is to check out the post I made regarding Seasonal Work; this link will take you straight to it. Please read the 2 links it provides, they will take you to a website where you can register for work and a link to the Dutch Government website which talks about residence permits and how you apply for one.
I hope this helps.
