Hello Everyone,

I am a Spanish Telecom Engineer with 4 years of experience. I have been offered a position in Montreal for 67k CAD per year (gross salary), and I am having some doubts.

Is this a good salary for my profile? The guys offering me the job are a little bit frustrated because I am having doubts.... but I have some friends here that lead to me believe that this offer is low for canadian standards.

Any reply will be greatly appreciated.

Hola Sanchismo,

Saludos,

Dally Lowry

Hola Dally,

Bueno, como dicen en ingles:  "you can get your feet wet" y una vez estes establecido, podrias buscar otras oportunidades con mejor remuneracion.

Saludos,

Dally Lowry

Dear members,

As you are on the anglophone forum could you please write in English so that others can understand and participate?

Thanks and regards
Armand

Hi Armand,

My appologies.  I just sent Sanchismo the following message:

The salary they are offering him is below the normal range.  He should be between 70k-75k with 4 years of experience.   My husband is also an Engineer with 20 yrs of experience and is above the 100k range.

Thank you,

Dally Lowry
