Hello
I moved to Stuttgart 3 weeks ago and between settling in.. new job.. and finding an apartment... I didnt feel that I was without a friend.. but now that the initial stress of moving to a new city has passed, I find myself quiet the loner.. and hence the reason for this forum....

Hope to hear some replies and some stories from the other members of this forum.

There are a couple of groups and activities for English speakers in Stuttgart:
Google the MetClub and/or join Internations: Both organize friendly gatherings and other activities at least once a month. There's also an English language cinema, the Corso.
Once you acquire basic German language capabilities, or dare to face Germlish (maybe even Swablish?), your possibilities for social interaction become virtually unlimited.
