Trying to get more information on your best and worst restaurant experiences in Kusadasi Turkey.

I have now been in Kusadasi for a little over a year and here is a list of a few restaurants I have enjoyed or have not enjoyed

Etchi Steak House - Good food, good service moderate prices. Great atmosphere. Mid to upper-level quality.

(note) I- Been here a dozen times and never had a bad meal. Since it is an indoor type of restaurant it is a great place to go during the more chilly days.

BulBul - Good food, low cost. plenty of food and good service. Mid-level restaurant.

(note) - Great if you are on a budget. Indoor and outdoor service.

Hong Kong Marina - Great atmosphere, the food is good, and the service is excellent.

(note) - Can be a little pricey if you are not careful what you order. But if you are like me and from the USA can still satisfy your hunger for well-prepared Asian food. Indoor service.

(Note) - They have a lunch menu at greatly reduced prices they don't advertise. plenty of food for your meal. Still one of my go-to restaurants for a lunchtime meal. the dinner menu will cost you. Be prepared, but the food quality is worth it. Great chef.

Casablanca Restaurant - Great variety menu and good solid tasting food. Service was good depending on what you order prices can be a smidgen high. Only been here twice and had one really good meal and one so-so meal. Need to try other items on the menu.

Four Brothers - I first started going to this restaurant when I first came to Kusadasi. The food was good, one of the best in Kusadasi for service. Very accommodating. Ate here many times mostly for the great service rather than the quality of the food. You can eat here without being charged an arm and a leg depending on your selection.

Trench Steakhouse - Only been here once. The food is exceptional but e prepared for a high-priced meal. The service was good. The restaurant atmosphere is great for a special occasion. Heard they had a great hamburger I want to try. Way out of the budget for most Turkish citizens. But well worth the experience.

Planet Yucca Restaurant - I Ate here many times. Prices can be a little on the high side. But you will get an experience well worth it. The highly electric atmosphere with live music and belly dancing. The food was excellent, great drink menu, and very good service.

(Note) - Closed for the winter months

Uskudar Caycisi - Love their tacos must have ordered them at least half a dozen times. Service needs to be improved. Comfortable restaurant to sit in. The prices are good. Found you need to be clear about making your order. Needs better English-speaking staff.

Ketchup - A little more on the higher price level but from the one time I was there the food quality and service was very good. Great atmosphere. Comfortable seating. Will go back again.

My Asado - Had some of my best dinners here. And celebrated many birthdays there. Chef has unfortunately moved on with most of the staff. While the old chef was there, service was excellent with the chef serving dinner at the table side. Don’t know enough about the new chef. Have to say he was recommended to the restaurant by the old chef. Would recommend you still try it. Great views of the sea from this restaurant but would recommend you stay away if the weather is not comfortable. Stopped going there during the cooler months for that reason.

So here is a list of my experience with Kusadasi Restaurants. I hope it is a good guide for some who have never tried them. Please add your favorite and not-so-favorite to the list so we can all benefit from your experience here. I understand not everyone’s taste in food is different but at least maybe we can weed out the not-so-good from the ones worth trying.

Who has a favorite steak place, fish place,

Turkish food place or even a vegetarian Restaurant?

Have a great experience here in Kusadasi, one and all.

Hi. These recommendations are really great. You can also check Explore Kusadasi to discover restaurants in Kusadasi. And because they double as pubs and bars, they are frequently open late. It is a location where you can go in the evening with your family and friends to eat or drink.

@dncole4156 I do not live there, but I love your comments, very good. I just live in Mahmutlar (alanya) and I hope to give some comments (I think I give before, but things change, still in general good)

Brilliant write up and thank you.

I have only eaten at a couple of the places listed and will give some of the others a try when I'm back.

Price (whether low or high) is a very subjective thing, best example when my son was amazed that a meal for 2 here in the UK cost £70...he thought this was V high.

I explained that it was reasonable.

He then asked what the most I'd spent on a meal for 2, when I advised over £500 in 2000 at Mosimann’s Club in London it blew his mind. All in perspective as a once in a lifetime dining experience.

So if you could give the cost in Euro/TRL it would be more useful.

Oh, do you know any decent cocktail bars near the marina for a lunchtime meal and cocktail? 🍸
