90 day reporting online

Post new topic

scbrock

Hello

It's the first time using the online method of reporting for

90 days. I got here in August of 2022 and reported in person

for 90 days back in November.

Using the online method it is asking me when I arrived. My

concern is if I say Aug 2022 will it think I am past the 90 days

and flag me. Or, do I put the November date that I last reported?

The paper that is stapled to my passport when I applied in person

has the November date and nothing is said of my arrival date

Thanks for any help

Use the Due Date in the receipt. That's what I did the last time I used the online reporting system.

That seems to make the most sense. Can't count on

all the info being in the "system" so it knows that I'm

not past the 90 days.

Your online application will be forwarded to the immigration office in the province where you're staying. Worst case scenario, your application will be rejected, and then you just do another report in person. You can do it 7 days after the Due Date, counting from the Due Date.

scbrock

It was rejected. Some problem with the address

is all it said

It went thru and I got my TM 47.
It stated ...
We have received your information successfully, you can find your information below.
Reference No xxxxxx
etc

According to what you are saying I need to wait for approval. This TM 47 they sent me isn't
stamped
-@scbrock

The time for the approval is between maybe 1 minute to 2-3 days depending on the immigration office. A robot approved your 90-days report. That's the reason for the receipt not having a stamp. You're supposed to get an exactly same type of receipt you get at the immigration office. Just print it out and staple it in your passport.

scbrock

It was rejected. It said a problem with the address doesn't

match the one on file

Did you submit a TM30 report earlier registering your address? If so,you should have the receipt in your passport showing the address or have you moved?

I've reported on-line three times now. The most recent was last week. Each time I placed the date that I first entered the country, Nov 28, 2020. It has never been rejected.

-@rzugnoni

He got rejected because his address for some reason didn't match.

scbrock

@Leeds forever!

Yes, I did submit the TM 30 and the address is in my

passport. It looks to match correctly so I don't have a

clue as to why it was rejected. The only thing I can see

possible is the building name. It goes by several different

names.

scbrock

@rzugnoni

That's interesting it seems it works either way.

-@scbrock

The only name immigration has to match is the name you wrote on the TM30 form. When you filled in the report online, did you do it correctly? Try again. But only fill in the info where there's an asterisk. Leave the other lines empty. And use the small arrow to the right if there's one. As I recall there were a couple of lines with the arrow.
