My CPF experience - simple

I applied online for my CPF. (No payment necessary)

Immediately received a protocol for my CPF.

Had a digital copy on my phone (not a printed copy).

Went to the nearest Receita Federal office (no appointment)

Took my passport, RNM card and proof of address (my wife's bank statement)

Catch 22 - they wanted a phone number which of course is hard to get without a CPF number (used my wife's phone number).

Walked out of the office with my protocol and an additional receipt document.

Within 48 hours my wife got a WhatsApp message from RF with my CPF number.

@seinfo3 how many days you took to get it

It took less than 48 hours to receive it by WhatsApp. Its a printable pdf now.... no real cards.

That's good. I didn't have much luck in the Receita Federal. Maybe because I don't have a RNM yet?I went to the nearest Receita Federal with my protocol and they asked me to send an e-mail as described here: https://www.gov.br/receitafederal/pt-br … nto-emailI sent the e-mail two weeks ago and still waiting

Please edit your post to remove the extra "l" at the end of the URL -- clicking on it brings the user to an "Unidentified Page" error.

This page actually is available from the site you reference above, but you have to drill down several levels.
