Blue card for engineer

Hello everyone,

im 25 years old student in Tunisia but currently writing my master thesis in Germany during an internship, the company offered me a full time job over 60000€ per year, so I contacted the immigration services to apply for a blue card,

so is it possible to get a blue card or a work premit before graduating and getting the degree cause I’m already in Germany and my diploma will be available only in June.

i sent an email to the AusländerBehörde and I mentioned that exactly but I think they didn’t read it carefully and didn’t even notice that I won’t get the diploma until June but still they ask me to send a translated version of it 🤷‍♂️.

so any advice ? I should go back to Tunisia and apply again for a blue card visa ?

Having a (recognised) degree is required for a Blue Card.

So, No, you cannot get it before completing your degree.

But you can get a normal work permit instead.
