Dish network internet service in the DR

Post new topic

crabelramble

I've seen people mention that they use Dish Network for internet service. I've Googled it several times but have come up empty.

Can anyone give me some clues as to what I'm doing wrong?

crabelramble

I should mention that I'm looking for a Dish provider because I'm in an area where Starlink is not yet available. My current internet service is useless for anything but Netflix, which I don't watch.

What is your area ??

I live in el campo de La Vega.

StarLink ??

Better than DISH..... I dropped DISH for StarLink

Clearly, StarLink is way better. We know costs $600 US for the equipment and 2700 pesos per month. And, it's not available in all areas.

What did DISH cost you?

WillieWeb

$140-150/mo

Order  StarLink as I told you..... send to ma friend, A BMCargo store

Mine went to the DOMEX office in Nagua

"$140-150/mo"  Wow, I had no idea! My eyes have been opened. Thanks!

$150 a month …all my bills together don’t even come to $ 100 a month.... spend more time on the beach  ,

If Starlink is available to you, you will not find a better service at the same price. Go ahead and jump on the waitlist if there is one for that area!

you will also need VPN so that you appear to be in the US in order to access US content.

I frankly had no idea what DISH cost monthly! It's now dead to me. 1f601.svg
