Hi everyone, my employer applied on my behalf and all documents were uploaded to UDI last December 5, 2023..

I'm applying as Chemical Engineer in the oil and gas industry, but currently residing outside EU..

Hopefully the processing time will not be too long

Hi guys, my Skilled Worker Visa is finally approved

The processing time took a little longer than expected, longer than the waiting time stated in the UDI website (at that time).. But after checking the status of the application via UDI Online Chat and sharing the findings to my employer, the application was approved <1 week after..

My application went like this:

December 5/6 - Employer said that all files are uploaded to UDI website, Waiting time that time is 2months.

Feb 5 - Still no update from UDI. I was thinking that it might be due to the Holidays (Christmas/New Year), so it might take a few more weeks. Also, my employer said he is also calling/checking the status of my application with the Police/UDI so I'm not that worried.

Feb 19 - I tried checking the status of my application personally using UDI Chat Online (link can be found in UDI website). In this instance, the UDI case worker said that my application was just registered to UDI system a few days ago (Feb 14) and it will take at most 2 months more before it can be approved. This surprised me since all of my files have been submitted already last December. So I shared this information to my employer and he took action immediately.

Feb 20 - My employer called UDI again to clear things out and he also submitted a priority letter to UDI.

Feb 22 - My application is approved

Therefore, I guess checking the status personally and keeping an open communication with the employer could help to achieve desired result (visa approval).

Anyway, waiting for the result is definitely frustrating. But trust the process and also do the things you can. Finally, don't forget to pray

And how many years is this visa? What things should be required How much time is required to get this type of visa .plz guide any one

@Khizarfarooq83 the visa is not providing any salary or benefit package, your employer does, and as such, it depends hugely on who your sponsor is. Agricultural workers are often on seasonal visas unless you have some expertise that will qualify you as skilled
