Dear admin & everyone

My name is Mugabi John Nyanzi Gaasaaka a Ugandan male of 38yrs,  I greet you all.

I have been to the United Arab Emirates (UAE 🇦🇪) for close to 9yrs and worked in very companies in various positions such as 1 Security guard/Office Admin, Sales Associate in a sports store and Marketing Specialist/Teller in a money transfer company.

I am expecting to land in Singapore on 9th this month, and I kindly ask anyone who is kind to suggest any job opening, and any other assistance possible is highly appreciated.

Thank you

Sorry to say, but please do not put your hopes up:

  • There is no scope for a foreigner to work as security guard, secretary, sports goods salesman, in a money transfer company or any similar profession. You need niche skills that are not available in the local population - in most cases this means a (recognised) university degree.
  • Although it's not illegal, the authorities do not like foreigners visiting to look for jobs. Some have been denied entry at border control, just for the suspicion they migh seek work. So better don't tell anyone - and also while in the country, keep a low profile!
  • You cannot find a job AND get the related work visa within the time of a short visit. So even if you find a job, you will have to return home to wait for the visa.
