Question to English native speakers

Post new topic

Ray Hermant

Hi,

My name's Ray.

I am currently looking for new friends in Brussels.

While it has always been easy for me to meet and befriend many people mainly from Spain and Latin America I wonder it has been impossible for me to have the same experience with English native speakers (US, Australia, Ireland, UK, Canada).

When leaving a post on Spanish/Latin expatriate facebook walls saying that I was looking for new friends, I would usually get lots of answers. Unfortunately it didn't quite work that way on English-speaking expatriate FB walls.

Could somebody explain to me why ?

Thank you for your answer :)

Hi Ray,

As i have  lived many foreign countries , speaking different languages and got friends i can say that Latin speakers (Spanish,Romanian,Italian,Colombian etc..) are  more inclined to get  social contact easyly.

I dont want to generalise the case but mainly thats what i have seen.
