Not renewing my contract

Good day. I came last augus2022 here in belgium with single working permit. My sponsor took me from Oman.. now im thinking not to renew this year. I just want to know what will happen to me if i will not renew? Can i still apply for another job even i dont have working permit and visa? How long can i still stay here in belgium without papers? Thankyou

@Christine Amor Pacheco its not go0d idea, better to have valid work permit, renew it then leave the company once u find some thing. normally take 2 to 4 months

It is not you who renews the work permit, it is your employer. I agree with the comment above - Dont take risk, dont lose your WP/RP before you secure another job.
