Quito airport transfers

Transportation option for

Quito airport travelers.

I used Aero transport this past weekend

to get from the airport at Tababela to my

condo in El Centro after flying back from

Colombia.

The one-way price was about 8 dollars

compared to the standard fare of about

$25 that regular taxis charge.

Aero runs buses in the daytime and I took

their 10:30 p.m. super-van for my trip.

The process took about 45 minutes longer

than if I had used a taxi.

My luggage was stored during the trip in

a hold at the back of the van and nothing

was misplaced.

Aero transfer involved a change of vehicle.

There were almost 20 passengers on the

Aero super-van, including a couple of folks

who sat on the 'bumper seats' next to the

driver.

Everyone who hadn't exited earlier disembarked

at the Aero bus lot near the old airport in Quito.

I was moved into a private car that took me

and my luggage the rest of the way to El Centro.

I also travelled to Liverpool not too long ago and decided to go a bit fancy with my ride from the airport.
