Two drink driving convictions

@bigpearl so my question are what are the cards you are writing things down on that go in the bin? Do you get asked about criminal history? Do you have to disclose? What can I expect at customs? I’m going to buy my ticket tomorrow so fingers crossed because it’s an expensive and long flight.

On my initial flight, shortly before landing they passed out a questionnaire for immigration, being groggy from a long flight from the states and with poor eyesight (cataracts), Grumpy Old Me, I just put the questionnaire  into the back of the seat in front of me.

Nothing came of it with immigration, I just passed through with my Filipina wife.

@Dizzler no worries mate, don’t say anything about anything unless asked too and it will be a breeze. I have been coming here every year since 2016 never been asked or questioned about anything. Keep it simple bro!!

@Dizzler The cards are typical of most any foreign country I've visited. One is a declaration of valuables and cash you are bringing into the country. I've never declared anything. The other card, if my memory is correct, is asking the address where you will be staying, length of stay, flight number etc. and warning against bringing in gambling or abortion devices. Nothing to worry about.

Just remember to pack your biggest smile. It will open and lubricate so many doors for you

I'll drink to that.

Cheers, Steve.

I just checked and it looks like they did away with those cards and replaced with an etravel registration that gives you a QR code for scanning at arrival. It is called etravel. I processed a fake one and i will say that it does capture your flight information, where you will stay, you need a filipino contact number (hotel) and things like that. It dies NOT ask about criminal records but it does ask about vax and booster. Did he get those? He should google etravel Philippines etravel so he can register.

Here is a fake one i filled in. Again, this replaces the arrival card.
