Hi, I am an artist considering relocating to Mauritus and I would like to get a feel for the contemporary art scene in Mauritus, particularly related to visual arts. Are there many spaces,events and oppourtunities for emerging artists? Are there creative communities that I could join for networking and support? What is the access to art supplies like? Will I be able to buy quality oil paints / cotton canvas / clay/ at reasonable prices?
I would be grateful for any info or help offered.
