Working for a Belgium Based Company, living in Spain

Hi,

I wonder if I could still work for my Belgium company living in Spain and still paying my taxes in Belgium.

I have still my fiscal residence in Belgium. So, nothing has changed just I'm thinking to start working remotely from Spain for a long period and I would like to do the right thing to avoid any issues.

On the other hand, I see there is a double tax agreement between Spain and Belgium so there is no risk that my income may be taxed twice if both countries have the right to tax your income. I would like to contact an expert regarding this topic as well.

Thank you for your suggestions!

You will be considered a tax resident if you live in Spain more than 183 days per calendar year, from January to December (note that the days don’t need to be consecutive in order to count).

Thank you RebeiraSacra for your answer.

If that scenario happens during this year means I have to pay taxes in Spain next year but my Belgium company is taking taxes currently so it is unclear to me who and how should be managed this situation in order to avoid paying taxes twice time next year.
