Dear Members,

I am residing in KSA from 26th June, 2022 working in a company based in Khobar and would like to change the company as I got a better opportunity.

Could any one let me know what is the process of getting transfer from my current company to another one.

Please note below contractual details of mine :

Contract duration - 1 year

Contract expiry - 26th June 2023

Joined my current company on - 26th June 2022

Notice - 60 days already given via Email to HR

Qiwa status - Contract copy not updated in the system

What if the current company didnt give transfer and put final exit?

Hello danzabidi,

Welcome to Expat.com 1f601.svg

Have you tried to browse the Saudi Arabia forum to see if the same case scenario has been discussed before?

By doing so, you might discover the solution to your query much more quickly.

All the best,

@danzabidi Hi, Ask your new company to generate a contract in qiwa. You have to give your details to them. After the generation of the contract, you have to accept it from your side and then your current company needs to accept it.

You will be moved from your current company to new.

If your current company does not allow that then you have to talk them through by sorting matters between you.

Hope your task be smooth.

Thanks,

danzabidi

Legally, i recommend you to visit the Ministry of Labor (MOL) and from there, you can raise a ticket or complaint and request for local transfer of sponsorship to new company/ or new employer. MOL will then create either a 60 to 90 days notice period for your local transfer within which period the current/present employer will be either forced to give you a "transfer" or a "final exit only visa". If current/present employer opted the latter “final exit only visa”, it will notify MOL that your current/present employer does not want your services anymore. In that instance, MOL grant your request outright, and automatically transfer your sponsorship to new company/ or new employer.
