My husband’s family reunion visa D update :

When we applied i was holding carte F but during process i got nationality on 24-06-2024. Update to ibz about new id and passport via email.

Applied : 27-03-2024

Registered on dofi : 30-05-2024

Accord: 30-07-2024

Passport received: 05-08-2024

Last question: My husband got muti visa for one year . So while buying tickets he needs to buy return ticket?

Please share if someone has information about this .

Good luck!

khat238

@dalvirsandy123 I have also applied for my Wife. I am also in the same situation, i.e. got the nationality on June. But, I did not inform ibz. Did not know that this was possible, What is the email where we need to inform about this? Also, did they reply to your email?

We applied on Jan 31.

khat238

@dalvirsandy123  I don't think you need to buy a return ticket. Also, congrats!

infodesk@ibz.fgov.be

This is the email id where i update my new documents like id, passport and certificate of nationality.

I don’t know its necessary but i just update them about new changes.

No they didn’t respond my email then i wait for like 10 days and i call them to ask is they receive my documents or not . Then thay said yes they received it and its showing my nationality belg .

Thats it .

Info : Our first visa was refused in 2023 because of insufficient funds. Then we reapplied this year with all the relevent documents .

Décision: En traitement

No emails from consulate neither from VFS till date

Meganmech

@indhumathiinn no i didn’t get an additional documents requirement mail.  Recently we emailed help desk know the actual status and the timeline for approval and they replied like its in process and the processing time is 9 month even it may go upto 15months as they replied!

indhumathiinn

@Meganmech that's the default answer from their side.

GuestPoster55549

  1. Does someone know from which email they will contact when they need some additional documents?
  2. Do they contact the visa applicant in India or the spouse living in belgium? vis email?

indhumathiinn

@nkrbel I dnt know the mail id from which they contact but they are asking through email only.Do u get anything regarding additional documents?

GuestPoster55549

Anyone applied in April.

My dates:

Applied: April 11

Reflected un IBZ: 11 June

Status: Pending

Partner residing in Belgium is non EU citizen.

pradap27

@Meganmech It would take minimum 3 - 6 months for the Approval.

Meganmech

@wil85cub  i applied on April 4th and it reflected in dofi on 7th may and my status is pending.

Meganmech

@pradap27  Thanks for the info! Could you help me with the one more details, what is the maximum time line for entry to Belgium once i get Visa?

pradap27

@Meganmech Visa will be stamped for 1 year. I do not think you have a timeline to enter. You can enter any time between 1 year. But after you enter, you need to apply for Residence permit which may take upto 1-2 months to receive the Residence card. Accordingly you should plan your travel before the expiry of the Visa.

Meganmech

@pradap27 Thank you! nice to hear that!

khat238

I have been asked by IBZ to provide my employment contract and payslips for July and August 2024. However, I have not yet received my payslip for August.

Is it better to wait until the end of the month to receive my August payslip, or should I go ahead and send my contract and July payslip already now?

Does anybody have experience with this ?

indhumathiinn

Does anyone get update on visa?

Hun-pseudo

Any updates from those applied at March?

wil85cub
