@indhumathiinn hi, i applied since June 11th and my application still shows ”In Processing” when I track it.

@Temsi Lee I applied on june8th and status is showing processing.

@indhumathiinn I’m really hoping we get our approvals this month, we’re in our 4th month already.

Ya this morning i got an update

Decision: Granting visa upon submission of additional documents

Decision date: 12.09.2024

But i haven't received mail on the additional documents requirement.

@indhumathiinn ya i got email yesterday. They asked travel insurance extension for 90 more days same i have provided yesterday.  Hopefully I will get my passport in couple of days i guess.

I would really appreciate some advice on the TLS VISA application form please.

I have a job offer in Belgium, and my two kids and spouse will be joining me.

In terms of filling the 'Financing of Stay' for my spouse - there are two options;

If she is financing her own stay or if there is an inviting person.

I would naturally to put me as the reference (inviting person), as my salary is what we will be living on.

But theres a part that states ; Has the inviting person signed an official document with a commitment that charge will be taken and has this document been validated by the host country?

Which we dont have...

Would it just be simpler to say she is financing her own stay and show her credit card statement?

Or must I now get this official document? Where do I start?

@Temsi Lee yesterday I got the status update that diplomatic bag has not been received by them and it takes one more month for them to get the file.Has anyone received update like this?I applied on June.

Extra info 1:    When a file is still being processed or if it has not yet been processed because it is awaiting the documents supporting the visa application sent by diplomatic bag, the date indicated is the date of registration of the visa application by the OE.

I have not come across such a reply nor I have not heard such an update from others as far as I know

I hope you know this already that we will be able to see our file status only when its registered on dofi (which means that the file has reached belgium)

When you search your file number in the ibz website https://infovisa.ibz.be and If you can see any one result of file whether it is in treatment or approved or rejected in their website

then It means that the file has reached belgium

@Temsi Lee yeah for me also same update for me till 2 days back..but now it is changed likely I mentioned in the post above...

Awaiting receipt of supporting documents for the visa application sent by diplomatic pouch by the diplomatic/consular post. This is the exact decision shown for me in dofi website.

In extra info1:The visa application is only processed upon receipt of the relevant documents, even if the visa application has already been submitted electronically previously. The sending by diplomatic bag takes on average one month. The processing time of the visa application then depends on the complexity of the file.

@indhumathiinn maybe they require some information from the embassy where you have applied. I am guessing they have communicated the embassy accordingly. Nonetheless, please keep an eye out on your emails.

@indhumathiinn I think you would have to contact the embassy in your country where you applied. You should be able to find details of their contact on google.

@Temsi Lee Today I called vfs customer care and there is no update from their end.

@indhumathiinn I remember someone once posted that the status changed to awaiting documents but she didn’t have to send anything. It might be a similar case.

Hi,my partner got the mail from embassy that they need house contract rental agreement.They also requested the legalized pcc of mine and birth certificate of the child from the diplomatic post.

@Temsi Lee We have already submitted these documents during vfs time itself .But I dnt know why they are asking these docs again.
