Get driving license as a foreigner

If you get your French driving license before you come here then as an International you may drive for 3 months and then go to Bulaq police station and convert it into an Egyptian one.  However, will you have a visa or not when you enter?  If you have no visa as a French citizen and are classified as Egyptian you need to do the Egyptian test at your local driving center.  Both tests are easier than European ones.  International people get an Egyptian license for the same amount of time as their visa. 

@Jannahreid hi, what about American? Do they have English translation driver's license test for license?

I am British and the test for me with a UK driver's license was basically to drive around one horseshoe of cones in the courtyard!!!!!!  No speaking or questions but I think you would need someone with you who can translate the paperwork and people inside the center.

@Jannahreid i am from malaysia and i also dont have driving lisence from my home country can you tell me step by step how to apply driving lisence in egypt cause i already enroll in driving school but they said i will do test with my own car thats mean if i dont car i cant do the test ?

Since you do not currently have a valid non-Egyptian driving license either, you will need to get an Egyptian driving license from scratch by taking the necessary tests in Egypt.
