Hi , I'm planning to apply for my German family reunion visa from Chennai / Hyd to join my spouse in Hamburg post our wedding in september. Has anyone had recent experiences & can shed some light on current visa processing times ? Is 2-3 months a reasonable estimate ?

Since the visa is processed by the municipal authorities of the town you plan to move to, there is a very wide range of possible processing times - and the embassy neither has control about this, nor can tell you how ling it will take. Plan on 3 - 6 months!
