Honestly speaking there are not many jobs in Suriname. It is straightway linked to economic development with slow down of the economy not many job opportunities exist. There have been expatriates working in Gold mines from Brazil
The opportunity can be explored as an expert in Banking and Financial Sector or in Construction Business and to a limited extent in the Consumer industry
With the opening up of the Economy, there may be an increase in such opportunities. We should also not forget that it was a Dutch colony and the educational system is Dutch with mostly vocational training on Dutch pattern. The jobs for English Speaking people are extremely limited
