Getting visa to come to Brazil with US passport after October 1, 2023

If this question has already been addressed I apologize. My son and daughter in law have US passports and are coming to Brazil in November. They live in the Netherlands at this time. Does anyone know how they can apply for visa before October? There does not appear to be a way to do that yet. We are worried that applying for a visa after Oct. 1 for a flight on Nov. 2 will not work. My son has tried to call the Brazilian embassy in the Netherlands and was not able to talk to anyone. He will obviously try that again but just hoping someone on forum has dealt with this issue and can give advice.

06/19/23 @Droplover. Here are the instructions from the Brazilian Consulate General in Amsterdam. Note that toward the bottom of the page there's an email address where your son and DIL can write with their questions. They're more likely to get an answer by email than by phone:

There's nothing to keep them from applying anytime this Summer for a November trip, unless the Consulate gives them a different start date in response to their email. The process (updated last month) is

Apply for visa online>receive appointment confirmation>book appointment online>go to interview at Consulate>receive visa.
