Working in NL with a dependent study visa

Thomas Budiman

Hi,

My wife is planning to pursue a Master's Degree in the Netherland for one year and I will be coming along with our kids. I am currently working for a UK company remotely from my home country, Indonesia. If I were to continue working remotely from NL for this UK company for one year, what rules apply regarding my tax and permit? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

@Thomas Budiman you need to pay tax in Holland to be resident here, UK is not even in the EU. I assume you already speak Dutch Aso you'll need an inbergeer ing certificate before you come.

For me I had to have 5 years tax history in Holland and pass level A0, A1 and A2 Dutch language cert in order to get a 10 year residency permit

At the very minimum you would need a job to come to in Holland  first
