@binoo0  Hi all, Any views?

surya2k

Salary update can be done at MoM in 2 to 3 days if you have provided all necessary documents like HR letter, salary slips and bank statement.

Thanks for the reply. I have submitted 3months salary slip and latest IRAS statement as mentioned in MOM site. Submitted 10 days ago..yet waiting. MOM notification says outcome in 3weeks.. Is the waiting normal

surya2k

When it says outcome in 3 weeks, which outcome is it? Your DP or salary update? For salary update there is no special notification shows in MoM, but DP result does have.

To update your salary MoM won’t take that many days. You can reach out MoM if you think your salary still shows old record in MoM Database.

@surya2k thanks Surya..as soon my HR update the salary, MOM screen shows we will update the outcome in 3 weeks..so I though HR will receive a notification from MOM after successful update...So am waiting for this to apply for DP

In that case, I will check with HR whether salary updated in MOM database.

surya2k

You can ask your HR to apply DP, no need to wait for the update. The reason is once you have submitted revised salary online in MoM, they have your record.

So, your DP applications will be considered under your revised salary and other rationale before they issue DP approval. Good luck

Hi all, Salary update to MOM has been rejected , mentioning the hike is substantial. I have submitted 3 months salary slip and IRAS statement to justify. hike from my previous pass application is 57% which happened in 2 yrs. After pass application , 1st year hike 30% and 2nd yr hike 27%. Due to market salary adjustment and a promotion.

But its a genuine case. Any idea how this can be settled??

@binoo0 Perhaps you can use the white paper produced by headhunting firms to justify what is the current market rate for your industry and role. Secondly, you can ask the HR to furnish information that indicate the average salary increment for a promotion to your current role in Singapore and globally.  Thirdly, you can use public information that is found in mycareerfuture to back up your claim.

Hope it helps!

@Healthcare Career Groove thanks for the valid input

@Vaseekaran Your employer should inform MoM about the salary increase!

Vaseekaran

@beppi what are the documents need for salary revise in mom?

beppi

@Vaseekaran The company's HR should know- and if not, they can ask MoM!

Vaseekaran

@beppi For successful salary update need new revise salary payslip? Or pass lowest salary pay slip will accept?

Milaaaaa

Hi! Can you share if you need to wait 3 months to update the salary? Or is it fine with 1 month showcasing the salary increase

Milaaaaa

@CNT

Hello! Would you mind sharing the outcome? I am in the exact same situation and would like to have an expectation, HR just notified about the salary increase with 1 month of revised salary and 2 months with previous salary.
