Hi, my girlfriend is in germany, she is having blue card and we are getting married soon. so, how can i get there? if i apply for dependent visa will i also get the blue card?.

TominStuttgart

One comes on a Family Reunion Visa. it is not called a dependent visa. The exact conditions depend on multiple factors including your nationalities and status. You are NOT simply given a blue card. If you both have income enough to survive without needing social assistance you can come and usually are allowed to work.

More details of the conditions here:

Totally irrelevant to what I previously wrote. This was already known.

Hi Tomin, my scenario is my girlfriend is there in Germany, she is working there, recently she got the blue card as well. Well we are getting married soon.

case - 1: So, if I want to come there with my wife. If I apply for family reunion visa. Will I also get the blue card?

case - 2: can I come there on a tourist visa? And then I’ll apply for a dependent visa. Will this work?

my question is which works better case - 1, r case - 2. Here, For family reunion visa takes around 4 to 5months, but tourist visa I can apply before marriage itself right. So, tell me which way is better to come there

No. If you apply for a family reunion visa (FRV), you will get a FRV.

case - 2: can I come there on a tourist visa? And then I’ll apply for a dependent visa. Will this work?

No. The FRV has to be applied for at a German embassy before arrival.
