Laser Printer Cartridge Availability and Transport

Post new topic

I have a nice and dependable Brother Laser printer but cannot find any vendors in Spain that carry the replacement toner cartridge (TN 760)

Does anyone have any experience with airlines transporting toner cartridges (yes or no) and/or how many can I bring.  If I can carry a toner cartridge (or two) I can use the printer for a couple of years and maybe have my daughter bring one back from the US every year or so.

The airlines talk a little about INK but not toner cartridges for laser printers.

I know I will have to get a voltage transformer 220 to 110v.

I am trying to decide whether to ship it (if I can get replacement cartridges) or leave it and purchase another when I get to Spain.  I'm thinking maybe the cost of shipping will be comparable to a new printer anyway.

Just exploring my options before I pack it or give it away.

Are you sure you need the transformer? I brought 2 old HP printers from the US and found out that they would run @ 220.
