my wife has just given birth at Førde hospital and we have not been given any birth documents. The nurse and midwife directed us to the tax department to get a birth certificate, but the next appointments are at the end of September and I need a document quickly to register my child at the French and American embassies.
Has anyone here received documents from the hospital allowing them to register a child at an embassy?
