Moving in to Oslo with my family this week

Post new topic

Hi, I am Venugopal. Moving in to Oslo this week with my family.

I had a couple of queries which the group members may be able to help with.

  1. We are moving into an Airbnb. Will this be a problem during the police registration as we do not have a permanent address?
  2. In typically what timeframe can we expect ID number and residence card?
  3. While looking for a rental, most of the house owners were asking for ID number. Is there a work around solution to get an accommodation faster? Since I am moving with family, it would be easier if we could move into a rental home than staying for a long time in Airbnbs.

Thanks in advance :)
