Interpol history reach

Post new topic

ratliffcityupc

I am in the Philippines, a few days ago I filled for a retirement visa. I didn't have a police clearance report.

The officer said they would do a police clearance through interpol.

45 years ago I was convicted of a felony with a firearm. Will interpol background check reach that far back into my history?

Firstly welcome to the forum and hope you find your answers here.

Interpol? That seems left field unless you are/could be an international criminal.

Can I/we ask? You mentioned you were applying for a retirement visa, was that an SRRV or something that we don't know about? Coming into this country you can arrive and be admitted on the following visas: Tourist for 30 days depending on the country then extend, Balakbayan visa if you return with your wife and good for 12 months or more until you leave the country and return with your wife, Student visa obtained in your own country before arriving here and probably others.

How did you enter this country?

Does do your concerns relate to heinous crimes that interpole would take an interest in?\

Mate? Open up a bit and members here will try to help/guide you.

Cheers, Steve.

Agreed

LOL. Not often we agree Bob but interpole? No research, retirement visa? Sounds like an escape plan but who knows until the OP replies/tells the story.

Cheers, Steve.

Unless you are on the run and Interpol have issued what they call a ‘red’ notice you have nothing to worry about. Presumably ( as our American friends like to say) you ‘ did your time for the crime’

@bigpearl Now you sound like Bob making judgements before having the facts.

Yes, Perv . . . . .No judgement made, Pearl and I were asking for the facts.

If you read the OP the facts are there, I asked some pertinent questions especially with regards to "filing for a retirement visa" 5 days ago and the OP has not responded.

Lets all let it be and see if we ever see ratliff again.

Cheers, Steve.
