Selected in Company but offer letter not singed by them

Dear Community,

I'm an expat existing in Saudi and working in oil and gas sector. Recently I gave an interview, after multiple rounds to face to face and online interviews I've been infirmed that  I'm selected and even HR called me stating my salary compensation in that company.

The HR told me that the offer letter has gone for final approvals and signatures. Now it's been 3 weeks and there is no news on the signed offer letter. Whenever I call the HR they tell me that it's in the signoff process and soon we will call you for your signatures.

I'm a little worried, is it a normal practice in Saudi? Please someone guide me how much the HR takes time for rolling out the offer letter officially (as I said earlier, the HR has already called me and told me the offer letter numbers unofficially through mobile).

Pls. advice here.

Regards,

Hello Faisal,

This is totally normal - it may even take up to 6 weeks or more depending on availability of top management as it is summer and their sign off will be required.
