Of course people need to stick to the rules in general. What I'm saying is the rules in Egypt make it damn near impossible to follow them. I already gave you 2 examples of common occurrences. To add to that; you're telling me you never broke any rules in Egypt? Impossible. How about the computer your using, is all the software original? Your not using a copy of windows? You never paid a bribe to get any papers done? You never had to bribe a traffic cop? You never drove on the wrong side of the street because the u-turn was miles away? When you were in school you never paid a teacher for private classes because he didn't teach his class so he could enforce the students to take private lessons with him? etc... etc... etc...
As for visa requirements they are sometimes impossible to follow. I know professors of AUC who didn't get their work visa until one year later. Should the foreigners who have to renew their visas at the moment go to the Mugama3 in Ta7rir even with all this violence happening or overstay their visas till it settles down? What about Palestinians and their horrible visa requirements, do you agree with them? To get a work visa I had to bribe someone with a 1,000 should I have not done that and said let's stick to the rules? Ha I wouldn't have gotten any work visa! And I couldn't work and than I couldn't provide for my family, what would I do then?
I don't expect people to stick to every single rule of my country, some of the rules are ridiculous.
And I don't believe people are abusing the system. Sure some foreigners come and get a job without the proper visa but that doesn't hurt any Egyptians. How do I say this - read below
Economically wise;
economies grow when consumers spend money. When an organization in Egypt hires a foreigner it usually gives them a good image with the consumers, so they spend more money, the companies grow and so in turn the economy grows.
And in regards to my personal religious oriented belief;
I'm sorry but I don't believe there is no foreigner keeping an Egyptian out of a job. Just like there is no Egyptian keeping a foreigner out of a job. I'm a Muslim and in my religion Allah says that He is the provider and no one can take another's sustenance
I hate anything to do with classing people and using this classification to judge and blame. Allah told us that He created us differently so we could know one another; not so we can fight and blame.
The problems of Egypt are deeply rooted into ever facet of society. We must start from the base and work our way down. If the root problems are fixed everything else will fall in line
