Hi!

It’s kind of weird that you have not seen the information on the city of Antwerpt but A is the ONLY choice you can apply for as a new comer.

Why do you think that you can apply for B?

You can NEVER get a B card before 5 years of stay as an EMPLOYEE. NOT A STUDENT!!!

I say its weird because as a new comer, you must register your self at the commune and they should guide you through the necessary steps.

It means that you are not going to choose which card to apply but they will let you go through the steps you must go according also to your immigration background.

To be honest, this question is a very very basic question that even your university can have and all other universities in Belgium also have and its so much easy to search via Google and even in this forum.

Please be sure that you follow them.

Please be sure that you spend a little time reading/analyting on Google and this forum before asking. That will definitely help your student life a lot.

Regards!
