Hello everyone,

I am currently in Mauritius and looking for a good lawyer to settle property over here. I am looking for a decent, dependable lawyer who doesn't charge too much! I normally reside in the UK and my parents are from Mauritius not Mauritania (although my profile states this I can't change this!)

I look forward to hearing any good suggestions...

Please DM me and I will give you a great lawyer - he is based in Port Louis. They are very busy - which is a good sign and they have been looking after me for the last 3 years

Yes if you can provide me with the details that would be great. I was wondering does this lawyer charge a lot? Also if this lawyer is very busy will they've time to see me?

Hello Savanvida,

I confirm, you don't need a lawyer but a notary.

Make sure the notary is registered with the Association of Notary in Mauritius : https://notairemaurice.org/notaires-par … habetique/
