Hello. I was wondering if its possible to go to say Norway, Sweden or Finland or any European or country near Russia from Philippines? I tend to see that the most common visa and flights or plane companies are for well middle east and other countries. Is there a direct flight from PH to Europe to any countries near Russia? Or is it 2 way or more from PH?

Yes, it is possible to travel from the Philippines to Norway, Sweden, Finland, or any other European country. However, there are no direct flights from the Philippines to Europe or countries close to Russia. You will typically have to take connecting flights with layovers in major transit hubs such as Dubai, Doha, Singapore, or Hong Kong.

Several airlines offer flights from the Philippines to Europe, including Qatar Airways, Emirates, Turkish Airlines, Cathay Pacific, and Singapore Airlines. These airlines usually operate routes with one or two stops before reaching your final destination in Europe.

To enter any European country as a Filipino citizen, you will need a Schengen visa. The Schengen visa allows you to travel within the Schengen Area for up to 90 days within a 180-day period. You will need to apply for this visa at the embassy or consulate of the country you plan to visit first or spend the most time in during your trip.

It's important to check the specific entry requirements and visa regulations of each country you plan to visit as they may vary slightly. Additionally, due to COVID-19 restrictions and travel advisories, it is advisable to stay updated on any travel restrictions or requirements imposed by both your home country and your destination country before planning your trip.

Please be aware that the Scandinavian countries will be much more expensive than say Latvia or Estonia.

Why near Russia, your not planning to make your way into Russia to fight in the war are you? Sounds like that could be your intention to me. Big mistake if you are.

Hello, let us give the OP the benefit of the doubt and try to help.

@Ktd32142,

Scandinavia is a historical and cultural region of Northern Europe.

Geographically, there are 3 Scandinavian countries (Denmark, Sweden, and Norway). Culturally, there are 6 Scandinavian countries Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Finland and The Faroe Islands

Some say 7 with Åland

I understand there is a once in a lifetime scenic rail trip from Russia to North Korea on a luxury bullet proof train if you can get there today. Starts off from Siberia (not to be confused with Serbia). If you ask Kim Jong Un nicely he may give you a tour of the missile silos in North Korea and even offer to fly you half way home strapped to one of the missiles.

May save you some money on air fares.

You can give Kim Jong Un an autographed shirt from Dennis Rodman. Also the WCW had a match in N. Korea.
